Fifteen IA&B member agencies and two aspiring producers received insurance education scholarships. They are spring 2020 recipients of the Insurance Agents & Brokers (IA&B) education scholarship program.

Legislatively mandated insurance coverage for lost business income related to COVID-19 – when it is clearly excluded from insurance policy language – is not the answer to the financial crisis gripping the commonwealth. In fact, such a move would ultimately hurt all insurance policyholders. That being said, there are solutions that could help the many businesses negatively affected by COVID-19. Allow me to explain.

Eight insurance agencies, two producers, and two aspiring producers this winter will benefit from the Insurance Agents & Brokers (IA&B) education scholarship program. IA&B will distribute $5,836 in scholarship funds to advance their careers.

Insurance Agents & Brokers (IA&B) announced the opening of an office in Maryland on Dec. 1. The office is located at 191 Main Street in Annapolis, MD. The organization also operates an office outside of Harrisburg, PA.

Insurance Agents & Brokers (IA&B) this week received commendations for its professional training program. The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) awarded IA&B two Excellence in Insurance Education Diamond Awards at its 2019 Education Convocation, held in Savannah, GA.

September marks a new administrative year for the Insurance Agents & Brokers (IA&B) Service Group and its partnership of agents’ associations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware.
