MECHANICSBURG, PA – Insurance Agents & Brokers (IA&B) will relocate its headquarters effective March 1 following the January 2022 sale of its building at 5050 Ritter Road, Mechanicsburg, PA. The IA&B Board of Directors approved the lease of office space at 650 Wilson Lane – also in Mechanicsburg, just two miles from the organization’s previous location.
“The new property is appropriately sized for what our organization is today – and positions us for the future,” said IA&B President & CEO Jason Ernest, Esq.
IA&B built the 21,000 square-foot building on Ritter Road in 1990, as one of the flagship properties in the Rossmoyne Business Center. At the time, the organization employed over 50 staff and operated an in-house print shop. Thanks to efficiencies created through technology, IA&B now has a staff of 23 and outsources printing.
“While our address is changing, our dedication to members has not,” said Ernest. “We are, and always will be, a member-centered organization.”
IA&B serves independent insurance agents and brokers employed by over 1,150 member agencies throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. The organization also maintains an office in Annapolis, MD.
