Newly passed legislation amends the Delaware Code focusing on employment practices, specifically pay transparency, for employers with over 25 employees.

Newly passed legislation will restrict employers' ability to require employees to use paid time off before accessing FMLA benefits, among other provisions.

Start dates for payroll contributions and benefit payments under Maryland's Paid Family Leave Insurance Program are further delayed due to House Bill 102.

Effective July 1, 2025, the minimum wage increased for employees of all Montgomery County employers, regardless of size.

Beginning on Jan. 1, Maryland insurance entities may no longer use "step therapy" or "fail-first protocols" for insulin medications to treat diabetes.

New legislation would require certain employers to include salary and wage information in all job postings, plus maintain job description and wage rate records.
