Last year was a hallmark year for IA&B’s advocacy efforts. We and our allies in Dover successfully defeated proposals to ban certain auto insurance rating factors, including gender and credit score. We also worked with lawmakers to amend legislation that would have redefined “Independent Contractor” in a way that would have upended the relationship between independent agents and insurance producers.
