Scholarship Information & Application
Insurance Agents & Brokers (IA&B) is the professional association for independent insurance agents in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. One of our strategic initiatives is to attract diverse new talent to the insurance industry. IA&B created the Insuring Careers Certification Program to train individuals to be insurance professionals ready for hire by IA&B agencies. The IA&B Board of Directors has created a scholarship program to help those in need of financial assistance pay for a significant portion of this program’s cost.
Value of Each Scholarship: Up to $1,350
Available: Scholarships will be awarded to individuals throughout the year.
Completion Note: From the time of awarded scholarship, recipient has 30 days to enroll in program.
Eligibility:Â Â Â
- Desire to be a successful insurance agent.
- Cannot currently hold any type of insurance license.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Cannot be currently employed by an insurance agency or company.
- I hereby acknowledge that the application was completed truthfully.Â
States: Applicant must reside in Pennsylvania, Maryland, or Delaware.Â
