IA&B opposed House Bill 355, which would have established a Baltimore City Lifeline Low-Cost Automobile Insurance Program in the Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund to offer low-cost automobile insurance policies to residents of Baltimore City. The bill did not pass.

IA&B opposed Senate Bill 816, which would have repealed certain confidentiality protections for proprietary rate-related information; and prohibited an insurer that uses territory as a factor in establishing automobile insurance rates from using more than five territories. The bill did not pass.

IA&B opposed House Bill 721, which would have required insurers to provide an identification card that indicates all named insureds or separate insurance identification cards for each named insured on the policy on request of a named insured. The bill did not pass.

IA&B vehemently opposed House Bill 128, which establishes EUIM as a de facto mandatory coverage for auto insurance policies. Unfortunately, the bill ultimately did pass, but not without changes to dramatically limit its scope.

IA&B supported Senate Bill 530, with certain amendments. The bill was passed with many of the changes that IA&B had supported.
