With Uber, AirBnb, and TaskRabbit, the trend toward a gig economy has begun, so how do we insure it?  We'll discuss shortcomings in various personal lines policies, commercial policies, and the insurance (or lack thereof) offered through the "Gig" organization.  The second section of this course reviews the ISO Personal Auto Policy.  Specifically, changes in the latest ISO form as well as many tried-and-true coverage concerns often misunderstood by insureds and their agents.

Insuring Contractors with Milton!

Contractors own and lease building which are used for their offices and warehouses.  They own, rent, lease, and borrow equipment and autos.  They build new buildings, they renovate existing buildings, they demolish buildings, and they install or repair equipment and machinery.  They hire employees and contract with subcontractors.  They sign contracts with project owners and building owners in which they agree to save and hold harmless that project owner or building owner for any injuries or damages arising out of the work performed.  This course reviews the property and liability exposures of contractors and discusses the policies needed.
