Introductory Training
As part of our continuous effort to build upon our training paths, IA&B provides a base-level education for individuals who are new to the business or newly licensed and ready to begin selling. Our introductory training courses are a great addition to your agency's onboarding process. These courses are also beneficial for individuals who have worked in Commercial Lines and are now being cross-trained in Personal Lines (or vice versa).
Non-credit courses for unlicensed agents
We offer self-paced online courses that include an introduction to the industry—"General Insurance Concepts" (7 courses). Also available are courses on specific coverage areas—"Personal Lines Basics" (14 courses) and "Commercial Lines Basics" (23 courses). Because they are designed for unlicensed individuals and provide basic information, these courses are not approved for CE credit.
CE courses for newly licensed agents
Our "Quoting, Writing and Servicing" series includes on-demand courses designed to shorten the learning curve for newly licensed agents and minimize the time and effort agencies must commit to training them how to sell, write up and service policies. They cover commercial and personal lines and award 1-2 CE credits for agents who complete a course and pass a 25-question exam within 30 days.
