Veterans now are eligible for reimbursement of Maryland insurance producer licensing and certification test fees. The Maryland Insurance Administration (MIA) received approval to participate in the GI Bill Reimbursement Program – an initiative that is underway in 11 other states and that aims “to welcome veterans to do business in the Maryland insurance industry.”

To qualify, veterans must be eligible for benefits, have remaining entitlement to benefits, and their delimiting date must not have passed.
