Three reasons to attend the Big “I” Legislative Conference

Join us in Washington, D.C. on April 18-19 for this year's Big "I" Legislative Conference. This one-of-a-kind event is a great opportunity for agents of any experience level. If you’re apprehensive to attend, we’re here to address your concerns and nudge you to register.

Concern: I’m not politically savvy.

Rebuttal: You have what it takes. Even if you lack political knowledge, your time and experience in the insurance industry makes you a valuable member of our group as we meet with federal lawmakers to discuss our legislative priorities – priorities about which we get you up to speed well in advance.

Concern: There’s not enough of a draw to take me away from the office.

Rebuttal: There’s more in it for you than you think. Aside from the advocacy opportunity, the Big “I” Legislative Conference is a great chance to network. Over 1,000 agents from across the nation attend, and there is plenty of time for mixing and mingling, especially with the agents from your state.

Concern: I can’t afford the trip.

Rebuttal: Don't let cost deter you. We pick up the tab for your conference registration and April 18 hotel room, and our friends at Travelers will sponsor our April 18 legislative dinner. You're only responsible for your travel to and from Washington, D.C.
