Agency principals to learn how to hire, inspire and retain top talent
Employee management is a thorn in the side of many independent insurance agency owners and principals. But agency executives can learn remedies to their common pain points in the new Insurance Agents & Brokers (IA&B) workshop, “Strengthening Your Agency Culture.”
“Agency managers share that it’s a struggle to find the right candidate, someone with the right skill set and the right personality,” said IA&B President and CEO Rick Russell. “And then once they hire someone, their concerns turn to onboarding and staff retention. This workshop runs the gamut of employee management.”
Rich Molden, CPBA, founder and principal of Performance Development Group, will lead sessions on agency culture, hiring strategy and employee assessment. In addition, IA&B Deputy CEO and Counsel Jason Ernest, Esq. will cover issues related to developing meaningful job descriptions and effective hiring tactics.
IA&B will offer the full-day workshop on Tuesday, March 21 in Cranberry Township, Pa. and Wednesday, March 22 in Mechanicsburg, Pa. The cost is $295 for IA&B members, $335 for non-members. Registration is available at IABforME.com/HRseminar.
