A Message from IA&B's PresidentApril 2, 2020 8:31 AM
To IA&B Members:
As the impact of the coronavirus continues to change, I want to assure you that our services remain available to our members. We have made some modifications, but stay 100% committed to providing you with the resources and support you've come to expect.
Education & Events: We are suspending all in-person classes and events scheduled through April 30, 2020. People registered for classes or events during this timeframe will receive direct email communication from IA&B's Education Team. This team is swiftly working to finalize solutions for registered individuals. And our online options are still available -- live CE webinars and on-demand programs. If you have questions, please contact our education team at 800-998-9644, option 2 or education@IABforME.com. Please be patient as they are assisting a high volume of customers.
Advocacy at Work: The IA&B Advocacy Team is talking with our state insurance departments about license renewals and CE deadlines and whether there is potential for a grace period. As we know more, we will let you know.
Virtual Meetings: Another change is that rather than meeting face-to-face, we will meet with members and business partners by phone or video and audio conferencing through April 30, 2020.
Member Resources: Our legal and compliance department, which is the most used resource by members, remains available. When you have questions about carrier or coverage issues, agency management, or legal compliance, please contact Claire Pantaloni or Don Bankus.
Membership, Insurance, and More: Regardless of your question or need, please contact us at 800-998-9644 or IAB@IABforME.com. Our staff is available for you.
We will help your agency navigate through this challenging and uncertain time.
- Jason Ernest, Esq.
